Something Old, Something New - Cone Cupcakes
I've been on a cupcake kick lately, and I thought it would be fun to try something different. Why not put two desserts in one fun package? These cone cupcakes are sure to please!
It's easy! You'll need ice cream cones, cake batter, frosting, and any yummy toppings.
1. First preheat the oven to 350° F. Make your cake batter. Mike was in the mood for banana flavor so I mixed a banana into the batter. Try making your own fun flavor.
2. Grab your cupcake pan. I put two sheets of tin foil over the pan and put small holes to hold the cones. Not the prettiest, but it gets the job done.
3. Fill the cone about two-thirds full of cake batter, and pop them in the oven for about 20 minutes. Let them cool down and frost away!
Great for birthdays, showers or a rainy day!
