Ready or Knot!

Any bride will tell you that weddings go quickly. After months of planning everything from flowers to dresses to cake toppers, an eight hour wedding really feels like eight seconds. The day after the wedding, when you're trying to relive the memories and wondering why you worried so much, you can't wait to see smiling faces in the wedding photos. Waiting for your pictures to arrive in four weeks feels like an eternity! When the photos arrive, your heart begins to race and all of the great memories come rushing back. I'm so excited to share some of my happiest moments from my wedding. Here are my "getting ready" photos:

My mother made my veil which I will cherish for the rest of my life

This was the first dress I tried on… I knew it was meant to be.

My mom also made my purse. She's amazing, and I'll never forgot how much love and support she gave me.

Here is my sister and my mother. I love my bridesmaid dresses. I wanted to use nontraditional colors, and I'm so glad that I did! The girls looked amazing in the Tiffany blue/red color theme.

My sister, the maid of honor.

I love how my friend's hair came out! She looked so elegant and beautiful (as always)!

The bridesmaid bouquets, white casablanca lilies.

I normally wear pink lipstick, but I was trying to go for a vintage hollywood theme.

 The bride and her girls.

I have great memories of getting ready (and trying to stay calm) with my friends and family. I can't wait to share the photos of my ceremony in an upcoming post.

  2. You look absolutely stunning!
And who is that gorgeous Asian bridesmaid? =D

I loved every little detail of your wedding. I still have the vase and gum dispenser in my apartment!! I wanted to keep the bouquet forever but Art was upset at the smell once they began to die. So beautiful though!
